Chapter 12

I

awoke from a blissful slumber and felt my lips tug into a smile. I could feel Chris's arms around my waist tighten. He made me feel safe and loved.

I played back last night in my head. We did everything excluding sex and every touch was filled with pure love and tenderness. It was my first time doing that stuff; Drake and I only had sex. Chris however; had done that, just not sex.

I stretched out and yawned with a lazy smile.

"You’re adorable when you sleep." Chris murmured from behind me.

"It's kind of creepy to watch me sleep," I said groggily.

"It's not creepy."

"Yeah, okay." I huffed.

"Don't be like that." He chuckled, vibrating his chest.

I turned to face him and pouted my lip out.

"You’re just making yourself even more attractive," he mumbled, leaning in to kiss me.

His soft lips met mine and my arms instantly went around his neck. His arms went around my waist, pulling me up to where I was straddling him. He licked my bottom lip and I opened my mouth slightly, allowing our tongues to dance around. His hands squeezed my butt, making me gasp.

“Brookie!" Landon's voice rang down my stairwell and my eyes widened.

"We're all here!" Ty yelled down.

"Don't come down here!" I slid off Chris and quickly pulled the covers over Chris's head. “Stay under the covers.” I snatched up a small blanket on the edge of the bed and wrapped it around me. I attempted to hop off the bed but landed hard on the floor.

"Urmph!" I heard Chris laughing under the covers. "Shut up."

"Brooke, let's go! You’ve got five seconds before we all come down there!" Mike shouted.

"No!" I screamed, all too dramatically from the floor and outstretching my arm towards the stairs.

Being my luck, all the guys accompanied by Maria trudged down the stairs.

"What the fuck?" Ty’s eyes were blazing.

"Please get out." I whimpered. "Chris, you have to stay under the covers."

"You guys had sex?" Cliff asked as Ty had all emotion wiped off his face, sending a pang of guilt through me.

"No, we didn’t have sex!”

"Then why are you naked and why is there a guy under your covers?" Mike asked.

"We didn't have sex... Just other things," I mumbled while my face turned hot.

"Brookie has got her freak on!" Landon thrusted the air.

"Maria, help me for goodness sakes!"

"Alright. Alright. Everyone upstairs!" She ushered them out.

They all did as told, thank goodness.

"You guys better believe when I get dressed you’re in for it!" I shouted as loud as I could. I didn't get a reply, but I did hear the loud stomps of them running and a door slamming.

"Thanks Maria." I grunted, getting off the floor.

"No problem. I'll hold them off. You better get lover boy out of here though." She winked playfully as she went up the stairs. "Details later!" I heard her scream from above.

"That was close." I sighed.

Chris's head popped up from under the covers. "Yeah too close. Next time we go to my house."

"Whatever you say Chris." I laughed.
